Development and initial validation of the Generalized Pliance Questionnaire

Description of the development and initial validation of the GPQ in three studies (total N=2127). Versions of 18 and 9 items (GPQ-18, GPQ-9) were selected. Factor analyses and internal consistency showed good reliability and theoretically coherent correlations with related constructs, supporting instrument validity as a measure of generalized pliance.
