Abstract
Preliminary study (N=12) investigating the transfer of suppression function and its impact on working memory tasks. Participants trained in suppression did not improve performance on subsequent tasks compared to controls; in some cases, the suppression function transferred to derived stimuli, interfering with cognitive performance.
